Why I love golf:
Sometimes it's in hope of lowering my handicap one stoke at a time. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's landing 100 yard T-shot on an island green within 3 feet of the pin into 40 mph wind. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's to get out of cleaning my house or mowing the lawn. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's to catch up with old friends. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's to witness a hole in one or a double eagle first hand. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's the serenity of the course on an early Sunday Morning. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's for the opportunity to see a rattlesnake slither across the green at Forrest Hills, or a fox tumble down the hill at Cedar Creek or deer run across the fairway at Fox Hollow. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's to learn a new rule. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's to spend time with my Dad Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's for the competition. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes, quite honestly, it's just for the beer. Sometimes it's....... ;)
