A popular expression goes around the upper echelon of the golf industry; "There is only one company to keep, and that is the best company." In 1996, with that philosophy in mind, a group of local amateur golfers, along with the support of area golf professionals, decided it was time to create more and better opportunities for stroke play competition within the greater La Crosse area. Their goal was simple; create a competitive atmosphere at well run, quality tournaments for a broad range of golfers. As a result of their interest and efforts, the Three Rivers Golf Association was founded to serve that purpose.
Events within the TRGA schedule serve golfers among eight different flights along with providing a junior-age schedule for both 9 and 18 hole players. Junior scholarship programs have awarded over $16,000.00 to area youth since its inception. The TRGA is supported by hundreds of local golfers and generous local sponsors. The local media has supported the TRGA for many years as well. All involved share a common interest in the growth and promotion of local golf competition. As we prepare to begin our 15th season the TRGA offers top quality local golf courses, top quality competition and an uncompromising guarantee for the best service possible. Welcome to the TRGA.
